Stag numbers

    Hi all, looking for a bit of input on my future stag

    Best man (brother) has got the ball rolling looking for contact info for people (i'm in Australia so he'll be organising it all). Was wondering how many people would normally be invited on a stag?

    Have only ever been to one a few years ago (missing all the current ones being away) and there was about 12/13 if I remember. I am thinking 22 including myself so far - is that too many?

    I would have two groups of close friends, lads from home and those from college

    Friends have had stags of 8-33 people in the last few years.

    Every crap stag I have been on has had loads of people and you get groups/cliques/people unable to agree on where to go and therefore group splits etc etc etc

    Every great stag I have been on has been on the smaller side, and a lot of those problems are not an issue at all, therefore more fun...

    So I kept mine pretty small, and it was brilliant :)

    I've been on a good few over the past few years, and all seem to have had between 12 - 20 people on them, apart from the very first which was a triple stag (three guys getting married that summer!) with more than 40 there. My stag's coming up and there are 15 of us, which is at the upper end of the perfect amount I'd think. 22 isn't too many but it seems a bit bigger than usual.
