I've tried to hook a Samsung Galaxy Note up to this - tried two different audio cables - the first one worked to an extent - the volume was bearly audable though. The second one didnt work at all. I thought this was a phone or cable issue i.e. compatibility. However, having tried 2x cables now, I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the aux input itself.

Can anyone cast any light on this?
