Business class with Aer Lingus to Chicago

I was looking at flights to Chicago and business class upgrade seems decent.

Is it worth the money? It's roughly 1000 more expensive. I've never flown business with aer lingus, what are the perks?

    Thanks,
    Neil.

Business class can be justifiable if you need to hit the ground running when you land..important if you're travelling for some kinds of work.

Key perk is bigger seat that reclines almost flat, better meal, better entertainment system and lounge access in the airport. If travelling for pleasure I wouldn't think it's justifiable on such a relatively short flight.

Practically zero possibility of screaming kids or the back of your seat being kicked.

Actually higher than you think!! Business/Premier seats are far from immune from screaming kids, particularly on the Trans-Atlantic routes where Americans use airmiles for upgrades.

I've been lucky to do a fair amount of travel in Business (through free upgrades and trips bought using airmiles, I've never paid for business Trans-Atlantic) and there have been kids up front on about 30% of the trips.
