About leaving a FAS course

So I've been in a course for about 2 months now with FAS, and I'm not happy with the way the course has been going. The teacher is rude, she's always absent or late and hasn't thought us anything in about 3 weeks.

I remember when I had signed up for this course, they mentioned something saying that if the course wasn't for me, to go back to them and they will get me back on job seekers allowance, including something related to €500, I can't remember exactly what.

So, I've lost complete interest in the course now, I find I spend hours (8.30-3.45) just sitting there on a computer doing nothing because we haven't been given any work. I'm not even allowed do my own work in the class so I really have nothing to do there.

I'd rather not waste my time doing this course and actually go out and look for a job, or get a different course. I've already applied for a course and I'm just waiting for a call back, but I won't be able to start that course, if I'm in this one as this course ends about a month or 2 after the new course starts.

How can I go about leaving the course and continuing on with Job Seekers Allowance? Thanks.

if you quit a course you will be unlikely offered a place on another one. have you and/or your colleagues at least made any official complaint?
