just wanted to give ya a heads up... mods please move if in the wrong area.. we had organised a cruise with some of our members last night..we all parked up ,and were doing the usual taking pictures , talking and laughing. we are used to people coming over taking pictures and chatting to us. there was a car in the background that was just looking and watching, when the oppertunity arose they went between two of our cars, somebody jumped out and robbed a girls handbag from one of our cars.. what jappened next was unreal and so bloody dangerous.
ONE OF OUR LADS SEEN WHAT HAPPENED AND RAN ROUND IN FRONT OF THEM SHOUTING AND SCREAMING AT THEM. THEY DROVE AT HIM, THEN REVERSED TWICE. THEY KNOCKED HIM ONTO THE BONNET AND THEN KNOCKED HIM DOWN, HE SPLIT HIS HEAD, THEY NEARLY DROVE OVER HIM,I THOUGHT THEY HAD DONE. THE GARDAI,FIRE BRIGADE AND AMBULANCE SERVICES ARRIEVED.TOOK CARE OF HIM AND HE ENDED UP IN HOSPITAL FOR THE NIGHT, HE IS OK THANK GOD,BUT THIS INCIDENT COULD HAVE BEEN VERY VERY SERIOUS WITH A BAD ENDING,THANK GOD HE IS OK.WE GOT PICTURES OF THE CAR,ITS 98 D 40149 GREEN PASSAT. IF ANY BODY SEES IT PLEASE CONTACT CABRA OR BLANCHARDSTOWN POLICE STATION.

Terrible thing to happen and i'm glad yer mate is ok...BUT.....open window/door, handbag....ya see where i'm goin..???......:o

I saw it at Terenure too...bags/phones/..even an ipad...sitting on seats in unattended cars...fortunately the scrotes dont like paying into things....I think the heat affects our brains....:cool:

know exactly where ya are max,ithappened sobloody fast man,we were all standing round at the cars at the time, still cant believe it. he is out of hospital, from now on all cars will be locked.

Never have things like phones in cradles or sat nav mounted in place. It takes no effort to put a phone in the pocket, sat nav in glove compartment or hide either of them in the car.

What are the odds that the plates are cloned? I am in local area "text alert" scheme, and in the course of 1 hour, got 3 alerts about 4 guys in an Audi A4 in the locality. With 3 different reg. numbers.
