As today is bastille day I was just wondering what fellow boardsies will be doing to mark the day.
I will be celebrating by having coffee and croissant for breakfast. Then to the couch to recover from last night with a glass of brandy and watch la tour.

Listening to this on repeat all day

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    ScienceNerd beat me to it.:D

Ooh, there's no bread, let 'em eat cake
There's no end to what they'll take
Flaunt the fruits of noble birth
Wash the salt into the earth

But they're marching to Bastille Day.
La guillotine will claim her bloody prize.
Free the dungeons of the innocent
    The king will kneel
    And let his kingdom rise.
Ooh, there's stained velvet, dirty lace,
    Naked fear on every face
See them bow their heads to die
As we would bow as they rode by
And we're marching to Bastille Day
La guillotine will claim her bloody prize
    Sing, oh choirs of cacophony
    The king has kneeled
    To let his kingdom rise.

    Lessons taught but never learned
    All around us anger burns
Guide the future by the past
Long ago the mould was cast
For they marched up to Bastille Day
La guillotine claimed her bloody prize
Hear the echoes of the centuries
Power isn't all that money buys.

Fantastic country with a fantastic lifestyle. Probably our best friends in Europe. Its just a pity their foreign policy is so crap. They don't take crap from any other nation and besides Russia down through history they have had Europes best army.

Along with Belgium and Britain though a terrible record in colonial matters which they should be ashamed of.

Outside of Paris its also in the main the most relaxed and friendliest country in Europe with loads to see and do. And its hugely different from region to region despite efforts by the French government to centralise the country.

It's not France, Europe. It is France of the three oceans

I shall post snobby and denigrating posts on all topics with a superior air.
    Like always.

The French are like the Italians as in they don't give a fcuk what anyone else thinks about them. They're comfortable with their nationality. Sometimes here we turn into nasty little goblins if another country or person criticises or slags us.

It comes off very bad imo.
