Help with vat applicable

    I got sent a list of trade rates on supplies from a merchant in Northern Ireland and it dosent mention anywhere about vat, can anyone tell me what vat do they apply up there if any? Im not vat reg by the way.

    20% is the standard rate of Vat on building materials .more info here http://www.HMRC.gov.uk/rates/

    The reason I asked as i didnt think 20% was applied to supply only on materials i thought it was maybe 12 or 13 odd percent?
