Those prices being quoted are with a two year contract.

I don't think any one is expecting a $50 BlackBerry but you may get a reduced price sim free phone

It has been reduced to £289/£285 on amazon uk at the minute. Not quite firesale prices.
    £289 = €334 With Free Shipping.
    £285 = €330 I didn't check the shipping.
A great price, but i'm guessing it may come down a little more.
I suppose it all depends on how many people will snap it up at that price.

At current prices this is a great deal. Not too popular here in Ireland though. Anyone looking at getting a new phone should definitely check it out. I've had it for 3 months and just loving it. :D

Excellent device. Picked one up on Amazon about two weeks after launch. Purchasing sim free is the way to go.
