Each application is unique so we cannot say

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I applied end of may, I received letter requesting documentation shortly afterwards and sent these in asap, susi received these and sent them to deciding officer on june 20th, i'm still waiting to hear from them......just to give you an idea, they are seriously busy at the moment, grab a coffee and enjoy the wait :o

You don't have till September once you have an application letter from susi most colleges will accept that so they dot come after you for fees.....my only advice is photocopy everything and document what you send them.

Im awaiting an appeals application now after susi lost my documents and did not inform me until the end of the college year.. I had everything in by late September last year...be on their backs constantly. Do not just leave it in their hands all in all my application so far has taken over a year to get sorted......

when they request documents etc, does that mean they are satisified with everything else,ie they never asked for my dads p60 etc,I know they can get that themselfs, but just wondering if they already checked that or do they do it all when the documents are sent in

I don't know but wouldn't have thought so, my impression is that an officer gathers everything and checks things off a checklist and then is all sent to a reviewing officer to make a decision, have heard of some crazy refusals so fingers crossed for us all. I'm hoping for the 2k contribution to fees, been unemployed since dec 2012 but is still not long enough unemployed to get the 6k contribution
