    Documentary just started.

    Dunno if its a repeat but I haven't seen it before.

    So far it sounds like a PR exercise for the Dept of Transport.

    Ita very tame with nothing we didn't know before.

    Some nice footage though.

    The narrator sounds like a convent school teacher addressing a classroom full of 12 year olds.
    Perhaps thats the programme's target audience.

    The director Paul Howard was also involved in Ironing the land. The current series actually began shooting in the mid noughties. It obviously got shelved. You can clearly see the older footage in the programme. There's also a lot of interviews with other people from the original shoot, on the cutting room floor, people that wouldn't have been so nice about the state of things.
