    Hi all,
    What are the Area Aid maps ? and where do i find them ? I'm looking for the SE Leitrim area.

    as far as i'm aware they cannot be accessed by the public. Each parcel of land is given its own unique identifier number or LPIS number and these are used for various schemes like SPS, REPS, DAS. The department post maps to the landowner. Why do u need them?

    No OS maps wont do, its for a forestry adviser and he specifically asked for the area aid maps or folio map (whats that??). I'm new to this and dont really know where or what I'm supposed to be looking for.

    You can zoom in on the area you want the Folio for and find out the Folio number if you don't already have it. I think, but could be corrected, you'll have to get the map for that Folio number from the Land Registry.
