The 'After Party'

Hi all,

So, we're almost all set for our upcoming civil partnership in November, ceremony booked, reception, really nice restaurant for the group etc. All in Dublin (city centre).

We're struggling now to find a place to have drinks / music after dinner finishes (say around 11pm). Ideally we'd like a private area in a club/bar or something (the restaurant isn't big enough to do it, but we really like it so don't want to change). Music obviously would be good too. We're not averse to hiring somewhere rather than just getting a space somewhere. So far no luck in identifying somewhere.

We have a few months to go yet, so its not panicking me too much yet, but would like to get sorted. Any ideas?.

I've been to a few of these in Fallon and Byrnes, The odeon and The Harbourmaster.

I can highly recommend Kellys Hotel. We used the hotel's private bar last November and it was just perfect. We had the bar from 8pm, brought in cupcakes, used our own iPod for music in the bar. Plus we (and a good few of our guests) also stayed in the hotel....so residents bar all night .
