    Hey folks,
I'm looking to be cycling to college next semester, and am hoping to be able to grab a shower before lectures start. Anyone know of any such facilities knocking around the building?

    Cheers,
    WP.

Indeed you are correct, it is a college and not a gym, thanks for pointing that out.

Now, does anyone know if there are showers in College Street?

    No there isn't.

Showers are in Cork Rd. - Sports courses, gym there etc.

But Remember if you wont to use the showers on the Cork Road you have to join the gym witch i think is about €50 or so for the year but i think i might be wrong on that one.

There are no showers in WIT that you can just whisk in and out off between lecturers. You wouldn't have time for a start. The gym is on the main cork road campus and possibly some out on Carriganore. You need to pay to use the gym facilities and the gym is a bit of a walk from the main lecture rooms.

People get these crazy ideas when the weather is warm that they will cycle miles to college everyday no bother when college is back for the year.

Then they realise it pisses down for 90% of the college year. :)

It's based on finances, not the good weather, so I'll be cycling regardless of sunshine.
And I'm Irish, so I know how much it rains here. It rains a lot less down in Waterford than where I'm from.
