    Hi

I'm going to be travelling to Canada in a couple of weeks, I'll be bringing my 17 year old niece with me, and I was wondering if anyone knew do I need written permission from her mom to allow her travel with me?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

    The Canadians strongly recommend this
    http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/arriving.asp

however it is not an absolute requirement.
As a 17 year old is well able to travel on her own and speak for herself and explain things, I doubt if it would be a problem, but a letter would remove that possibility.

    Thanks ardmacha. That clarifies it.
