I am currently on jobseekers benefit while im off college as I was on BTEA, i just recieved a letter saying my Jobseekers benefit is stopping in the next few weeks and I can apply for Jobseekers Allowance, I intend to go back to college in September for my last year and I am due my first baby at the end of September, what should I do? Thanks for any help!

I'm in a similar situation, on jsb, due to run out on aug 30th, been claiming for my oh all along, we are both going to college in sept, we have been advised for my oh to apply for jsa in early aug, then he could be switched to btea, i'm not entitled to btea but he is... it is a minefield

i'd imagine you would be better off to pop into swo, would imagine you would need to apply for jsa now but not sure if you are not a new applicant to btea, good luck with it anyways!
