Vaping and lifestyle

I thought to create this topic that people could share their experiences switching from real cigs to vaping and changes in their lifestyle. In my case i was almost heavy smoker since 15 for ten years and managed to quit for almost two years, but stress and other bad things happened in short period and before end of last year i was back on smokes full time (worst choice ever).
Now im smokes free nearly 3 weeks, first week i had couple while at work but after vaping for couple days the normal cig didnt feel the same, now i guess its because of amount one cig has nic in it.Best thing of vaping is that there is no more that sick feeling especially in the mornings where you smoked one and felt like puking your lungs out,and hear them crack like full of coal.other interesting thing is i can vape at home now anytime i want, where before if i smoked at home i would get my head cut off for making house stink.Only down side to this i see that i no longer need to go outside to have one,can sit at pc and vape anytime i want,at work i treat it like i smoked before, but good thing is where i would had 15 a day while working now i go for couple vapes and its enough to go trough out the day, good thing is now i can last longer periods when out without having any nicotine, also dont feel very tempted to vape in public yet,as i found out many people only know them wanna be e-smokes that are sold in every shop,as my setup looks more like something you'd see in breaking bad :D
long battery and huge tank,so for someone who has little knowledge yet it might seem dodgy and odd, cant explain to everyone what device it is and how its less harmful then cigarettes they smoke.
Health wise,i have no longer that ill sick feeling of coughing and all kinds of stuff coming out from me in the morning,no more stinky fingers, bad breath, teeth are becoming whiter every day,and best so far when taking deep breath theres no more feeling that your lungs are filled with muck.
I believe i missed more advantages/disatvanges on this matter so feel free to share yours :)

    Good Story!

I'm a few month over a year off the ciggies now. First thing I noticed health wise was the morning cough quickly disappeared and the general gurgle in my lungs.

I started with an eGo T system which ws reasonably discreet I guess but not great performance. replaced the atomizer and tank sytem with a clearo system on the eGo batteries and I really got going from there. Eventually ended up using a VAMO and a AGA-T out and about and all. I quickly realised that this was just plain ridiculous and got a genesis atty for my eGo twists. I'm happy enough with this set up for out and about. I've a mech mod and the VAMO for at home.

For me it's definitely become a little hobby. I do enjoy tinkering and rebuildables feed perfectly into this. I've a few different dripping and genesis type atomisers haven't ventured for anything too ex[ensive (other than the GP PAPs).

At work I can sit at the desk and vape away to my hearts content, I find it a little less relaxing while on the move it's more of a sit down kinds thing for me.

I noticed the same that on the move vaping isn't that enjoyable, guess that's because vaping is more like cigar smoking, you need to take deep draws, once you sit down its nice pleasure compared to trying to smoke fag as fast as possible while on the move.

I am 4 weeks in and still only have an Evod , some Polish friends showed me a site with very cheap liquid , I can buy a years supply for 120 euro , I used to spend 2,800 euro on fags .
I feel healthier would never smoke again .
I am looking around the sites for a better device but most sites here are just selling basic kits , so I have to make do with the Evod which is fine .

Have you looked at the sites here?

Many of them have gear that's much more advanced than the basic kind, especially e-smokeireland, vaperus, bargain vapour, the best shop, vaporium, vapourpal.

I've been vaping for around 2 months now, still have the odd smoke don't mid if I don't get one though have gone for periods of a week without one. Started out with a Kanger T2, had leaking issues, used just plain boge's for a couple of weeks and then eventually got a AGR tank which I am loving. Still using my 650mah twist batteries, would like a bit longer battery life but won't be upgrading anytime soon.

The big health thing that I have noticed is how white my teeth have gotten, I honestly can't get over it. My chest has gotten a lot better though, I am asthmatic and usually in this kind of weather I am really short of breath, not even having to use my inhalers at the moment so that's great.

Another great thing is not having to out for a smoke anymore, I can't smoke around my dog due to a health issue so if I wanted a smoke I used to have to go outside and leave him in or vice versa, the vaping doesn't affect him at all so that's really great.

Even though I spend around €60 a month on vaping I'm still saving a lot of money. I think I'm getting closer and closer to giving them up, except on nights out which I will never give up as I love smoking when I am drinking which is very rare. I only gave up smoking because I couldn't afford it anymore, at the start I said if I ever could afford it again I would start but now I can't see myself going back to being a full time smoker, ever, which I honestly can't believe as I didn't give them up by choice, just by necessity.

I'm 4 weeks off them at the moment and am finding everything much better. I can actually taste things instead of just eating it! Also in work I can smell smoke off other people and never realised how horrible it smells!
