Does anyone know where I'd be able to get one of these in Mayo/Galway/Sligo?

I've already tried Genfitt and O'Briens (that's why I now have three of them :D ) but both were too small when I came home. It's for a MF 35X. If anyone even knew the exact size of the nut needed for that tractor it would be a great help!

That's exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks :)

I might take a look and see if I can get one in the meantime (as I could do with the tractor today) but if not I'll be ordering that. Thanks!

When you say too small, do you mean the thread size, or the width of the nut?
Sometimes when the studaxle and bearings wear that bit, you need extra washers inside the hut for the split pin to line up with the hole.
Can you get a vernier and measure the outer diameter & pitch of the thread on the axle? Easier to find the nut then when you know what size it is.

3/4" UNF, according to a bit of googling.
Should be an off-the-shelf item in pretty much any farm machinery place.

3/4" UNF - Thread Outer Diameter should be 19.05mm and pitch 16 TPI or 1.587mm. If you want to check it.;)

Got it in Jennings later that day. They're very helpful over there, I didn't even know the place existed until you mentioned it! Thanks to everyone who helped out, it's the difference between me having the turf home now or still running around looking for something to patch it up :)
