    it must be a different product dad got as this has been on sale every 3/4 months for past year at 69.99 and never cheaper.

    Nope the exact same box was 49.99 lent him the money. It probably was reduced as it was the last one. Btw they aren't that great. EPG is ****.

    so because they gave an extra reduction on a clearance item, that wehn they sell the same item again, you say they area rip-off????

    I said it probably was reduced not that it was but that could explain why it was only €49

    Probably reduced, possibly your dad got the price wrong?

    Sorry, but again no sign of a rip off, just you unsure of the actual transaction and no proof whereas there are links online showing the exact same item at the same price consistently for the past 12-18 months.

    Sorry, but either your dad got a mis priced item, a specially reduced end of line or he was mistaken and actually did pay 59.99.

    Whatever way you look at it, it in no way whatsoever warrants a rip off comment.
