I've got a Mahlkonig Vario, bought in 2010.

When I first bought it grinding at the finest setting would choke the espresso machine, but over the years the optimal grind setting got finer and finer.

Recently I've noticed that even at the finest setting the espresso is extracting in 20 seconds or less.

Is there anything I can do to correct this?

It could just be the beans I'm using, but I'm wondering if I can calibrate the grinder to make it grind finer or if I need to replace the Burrs, but I would think that 3 years would be a bit soon for this.

    Any thoughts?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sa30Kh35bOs this should cover exactly what you need to do.
I use a small allen key on my leatherman to adjust it before.

Just be careful when temperatures & humidity return to normal that you aren't set too fine.
