Would anyone be in the know of any where in Clare or Kerry that might have a wave 4 foot plus at the face this weekend ?

Not a wave to be had this weekend I would say. Go snorkeling instead

I have the wetsuit and bodyboard fins, and am strong and fast enough. ..
    Is snorkeling gear expensive ?
I know a place full of ray's, huss, polock and other strange fish. ..

Pity that most of the time, when the weather is really good, that there are no waves. I wouldn't be a regular ocean goer by any means, but I usually stay away from the coast on weekends when it's fine. Too packed.
I remember some lucky evenings a few times a few years back mid week in Spanish point. I'd go down after work and the weather was glorious, as were the waves, and nobody in the water bar one or two others...
