I want to increase the security of my home as we live far away from the city.But wondering that what to install.Because i don't have enough money to buy expensive security system.So what you think which security devices are best to install and cheap under the above circumstances?

Keep away from the DIY stuff.
After that it's down to a few good makes.
Is the house wired?
