    edit:
The link above goes to an Ask me Anything on Reddit where two hackers that work on Metasploit and AircrackNG are answering user questions.

xzx , please dont just drop links onto this forum (anywhere on boards and this forum in particular!) without providing some background and description. Next time we wont bother checking and we'll just delete it.

Aww, I thought the original heading was clear enough and the link has reddit...AMA.

You deleted article from Prism Thread? Some good links in that. Does Article heading not make it clear enough what it was?

no. you double posted and deleted the second one yourself. The first (which is identical to the deleted second) is still there in all its linky glory.

A for the thread title being self explanatory, it was originally:

we are two hackers developing on Metasploit and AircrackNG

    followed by a link.

    nothing else.

You meant well and its a good link but that's exactly what spam looks like, you need to include some padding to show what the link is before people click on it so they know where they are going (and even if the URL reads reddit, unless people remember to check the target before they click it could be a link to anywhere else underneath.

oh, and not closing your account after posting a link (and maybe building up some posts before you post a link, or some time on the site) would certainly help with the mods deciding if a link can be trusted or not by the users without having to unapproved the post, investigate the link, edit the post so it makes sense and re-approve it.

for example: from experience and from interaction, I would trust a link posted by Khannie, AnCatDubh, BaconZombie, etc. I don't tend to blindly trust links posted by someone that just signed up in the last month even if they have made decent contributions elsewhere in the forum so far.

as I typed it I was thinking..."I'm going to have to double check all links from now on, aren't I?"....

The....what's it called...destination that pops up at the bottom of the screen when you hover over a link, barring Malware, that has to go where it says it's going, yes? Or can that be spoffed?
