Looking to buy a bike rack for our new club vehicle, want to fit 4 bikes on it if possible.
Any advice on whats good and whats a waste of money?
Would prefer the ones where you leave the wheels on the bike but are they safe enough?

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

Patjoe i make 4 and 5 bike racks.I had a couple in the JT cavalcade last week and a few more on the ras a few weeks before. They take the bike with the front wheel out and include fork space for the front wheels plus 2 x spare sets of wheels.Bikes safe as houses on it.e400 for the 4 bike and e460 for the 5 bike.Bolts directly on to any existing roof bars by means of u-bolts.Can email you photos if you let me have your email address.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

I think we want to go for one that you can keep the wheels on but if you can send some photos to westportcc@gmail.com we'll have a look.

    Thanks

You should easily fit 4 Thule 591 roof carriers, two reversed, and two with the distance staggered somewhat to allow handlebars to not touch. Will take road bikes with wheels still on, and very safe and stable as well. Chances are though that these would cost a bit more than the option above.

Also check out the Thule 9708 towbar carrier. This may better suit your requirements.
