    Hi everybody!
Several years ago I found this photo in the Castlebar website. I don't remember whether any detail was given with the photo.
It seems it was in Killeadan/Knock area, but I might be wrong. Though I've been there twice I never found it.
Does anybody of you know where this place is?

Noe 100% sure but i think it is on the Kiltimagh to Balla Road past the cemetry on the right hand side heading for Balla.
Google street view out that road should let you know if it is the same place.

Sundodger is pretty much spot on. It's the Church of Ireland church and graveyard and it located on the Kiltimagh - Balla road about a mile from Kiltimagh on the right as you head to Balla.

    Wow!!! I'm amazed!!!
You did a graet job in no time! It seems it's the place I was looking for. Google Street View is not much of help because the street photo is a bit blurred, but seen from above it really looks the right spot.
Along with the photo I had this note
"I bhogas dha mhíle do Bhéal an Áth' Móir"
And as a matter of fact, Google maps says that this graveyard is 2 miles from Ballinamore and 1 mile from Kiltimagh!
I have no words to thank you! You are wonderful! :)

This is the cemetery that Anthony Ormsby (AKA "Black" Anthony) of Ballinamore House was buried. We used to go there when we were kids to freak ourselves out. Was really overgrown back then but was cleaned up in recent years....

Samhain, thanks for those two interesting links! It seems that most of the landlords were very hard on the tenants in those times. I read other stories about how they "had fun" torturing their workers and tenants in different parts of Ireland.
    Thanks a lot!

That mayotales site seems to be down.

    It does seem.
I wonder if the site owner knows that... Unfortunately I think there's no way to contact them.

I have tried to send an email to the registrar of that website, but the email address provided is non existant.
It seems that there's no way to retrieve the information in that webpage :(
