Dirt on the sensor - Sony camera

    Hi All,

I would appreciate some advice on this.

I got a Sony Exmor R camera as an engagement gift from my now wife about 18 months ago. It's a great camera. It takes clear shots when on the move and of buildings lit up at night time. Anyway, a bit of dirt or dust has seemed to get lodged on the sensor so anytime I take shots, it shows up in the middle of the photo, and a speck of dust on each side of the photo. I have attached photos below as examples.

I'm gutted because a lot of money was spent on it and I only got 18 months out of it. The only option I have is to send it back to Sony but it'll cost me the price of the camera to get it fixed.

Has anyone experienced this before and were they able to get it fixed without forking out too much?

I got it fixed. I bought it into them and they blew air into it and managed to clean it. And they did it for free! After the crowd that the camera was brought from told me that it would cost me the original price to get it fixed! I won't be dealing with them anymore.
