    Hi,

I just passed a pet shop and they have rabbits and gerbils in their front window with the sun beating in. They have a cardboard box on it's side which is providing a small amount of shade. Is this enough? It doesn't seem right in this heat.

No it's not enough. They shouldn't be in the window at all. However, aside from going in and making a complaint, there isn't a whole lot that can be done :(

The DSPCA took it very seriously and promised to send an inspector to the pet shop.

It was awful to see, poor little things were huddled into the tiny bit of shade the cardboard provided.

Thats good, I didnt realise the SPCA had any sort of authority when it came to a business. Hopefully they will check it out.
