hope saxo will give kreuzinger the team lead after todays TT, he has bettered contador in the pyrenees [giving up a better chance of finishing higher on the last mountain for him and going back to pace him up the climb] and pretty much matched him in todays 33k TT with another one of nearly identical length to come.

do it saxo, let kreuzinger do his best and not hold back for contador, hes washed up now relative to pre ban

He's still lower down on GC than Contador so it won't happen. It will take Contador cracking in a big way in the Alps before Kreuzinger gets the team lead.

Team leadership won't change yet but if Contador cracks i can see Saxo allowing Kreuziger stay up the road. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he finishes ahead of Alberto.

I wouldn't put it past Riis to engineer something in favour of Kreuziger only if Contador cracks severely...otherwise Alberto will remain leader. If Contador does crack badly and admits he's ruling out going for the win (will never happen regardless) I could see him going on an early solo attack to try and tire Froome and then allow Kreuziger to capitalise. All fairy stuff though, can't see Riis giving up on Contador and likewise Bertie giving up.

its only a few seconds though, nothing in the grand scheme of things, and contador cost him about a minute when he went back for him
