SUSI grant question.

    I have been faced with being kicked out of home due to a few reasons. I'm currently staying at a friends house for a while until I can try to find something more permanent.

    I was wondering about the SUSI grant, will I still be able to apply for it? I have it only half filled and I don't know the revenue information needed to complete it, due to the change of conditions at home and highly doubt I will get the information as my parents are no longer speaking to me.

    Is there any way for me to get a grant now due to these conditions and what type of other financing are available to me? As it will probably be hard to get a student loan without a guarantor.

    If you can prove that you are irreconcilably estranged from your parents then you can apply as an independent student

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me?
