I was just on the phone to sky. Basically they said the sky+HD box needs settings changed to receive the Irish stations. They suggested ringing the guy who installed the box & they also hinted that the info is readily available on Google. Anyone know what setting these are?

What channels are you getting on 101, 102 & 103 and have you got a valid Irish subscription.

I had the same thing when I had sky first installed about 10 years ago. I rang sky and they sent a signal to sort it out, and it did. I'd ring them again.

Im sure its something simple. They said to contact the installer. Its prob a freq change or something. I cant ring the installer until tomorrow so I just thought there would be someone in the game that would know what settings will need changing.

Im presuming you have a card in the box,if not it reverts to the UK setup.
If you have a card, switch off the box at the socket so it doesnt even have the red standby light on,leave it off for more than 2 mins, turn back on and it will reset itself and update if any new software is available. It has worked for me.

They lady from sky already had me turn off the power with the card removed. Powered it back up & then inserted the card. But thats separate from the fix I need for Irish stations.

The information you were given is incorrect, the installer cannot fix the problem. Sky need to do a re activation or pairing amendment. You could try a callback on the box and see do the channels come on.
