weed barrier under shed

    Hi all,
    i am getting a timber shed put up tomorrow and was wondering if putting sheets of weed barier fabric on the ground would be beneficial?

    Well it wont do any harm,put it that way.Then place your 4 inch solid building blocks on the flat in position and install the shed base on them..


    Or you could put down some 600 x 600 x 50 patio/paving slabs that would prevent any grass/weed growth below the shed and also give a firm base for the shed to rest on.

    But most of the grass and weeds under the shed will tend to die back,due to lack of rain and sunlight getting to the ground.
