    Hey all,

I know about the Back to Education allowance that is provided for long-term unemployed people to go back to college, etc. and there are the Fás/Intreo courses which sadly I just cannot rate- perhaps they are useful for the odd sector though?

But I'm wondering if there is anything else as regards help towards coursebooks, course fees or fees for professional qualification exams? Say in the case of internationally recognized qualifications even?

Just wondering if you can apply to a specific fund for any of this, or if it's coming out of your basic payment and you just need to save the monies up from that payment?

That is terrific! Thanks so much for that. Will def apply. I'm not signing on too long but it looks like I might be eligible anyway!

Just also, I don't want to waste my time on this, but would you know if I can get any help in terms of supplementary payments for study books, etc.?
