    Panasonic Pro Power Alkaline AA Batteries - 4 Pack. 99c in Argos

    Just picked up the last 2 in Jervis but reasonable levels around the country

    • €8.95 for 16 Duracell AA batteries (52% off)

    • €12.95 for 24 Duracell AA batteries (53% off)

    €2 shops can have really big packs of odd brands. I find the cheapo brands still last fine in remote controls, where I use most AA or AAA's.

    For high power devices I just stick with good rechargeables.

    No disputing your Panasonic find; a great price there.

    But groupon? Rarely a genuine bargain to be found there IMO. Highlighted in this case when the likes of woodies DIY can put it up to them.......
