Item on e-cigs coming up on newstalk at 8.50 this morning. Apparently, the WHO have come out against them and they will be discussing it.

Won't hear it myself but just to let people know its on anyway.

WHO simply advised that there is the possibility some of the chemicals could be toxic if used over a substantial period of time.

During a press conference they had yesterday, when they were asked " From what data and timeframe have you drawn these conclusions?" The response was " Well obviously we are not aware, and do not have any longterm data, so we cannot be 100% clear that the chemicals will be harmful"

To which the final response from the journalist was " So you actually have no idea if they are toxic or not?"
