How is that even remotely helpful or funny, he asked a legit question and you try to take the piss, lead by example I'd say.

OP that's a good question, I'd also be interested in the answer.

Was often wondering the same, be very handy to have an up to date list

    relax it was a joke.

There are a few threads here over the last few years asking the same question. There doesn't seem to be a definitive list of actual shops who take the vouchers anywhere.

if anyone has used their GUI vouchers in a shop let me know and I'll compile a list of them and post it here.

Send on the shop name and location.

Its funny if you know what precipitation is...

We had a thread a couple of weeks ago about the same thing,
Tesco, Dunnes, Lifestyle, Superquinn take them
    The big chains usually do.

I dont think the GUI will have a list of who does, maybe who *has* in the past.

This gets better and better, you don't think the people who actually issue the vouchers may have a master list of who accepts them, who then do you think may have this elusive list?.

I actually did think it was funny, I never noticed a thread before if it was brought up

Another question if you use them in one particular shop do you have to spend the rest in that particular shop ?

    From the GUI ::
    Dear Rickylovesuall,

Unfortunately there is no list of shops that will accept GUI vouchers. All Pro-shops attached to Golf Clubs will accept them but after that it is down to the individual shops as to whether or not they will accept them. We advise that you contact the shops in advance to see if they will accept GUI vouchers.

    Kind Regards,

    Golfing Union of Ireland

Tesco, Superquin, Arnots, M&S all these places will take them no problem.
I used to swap mine for cash for my mums shopping.
Now I just use them for my own shopping :)
