    Hi folks,

Does anyone know of a way to recover video files from an SD card?
For some reason my card is corrupt and I cant see any of the video files I took on my camera. I seem to be able to recover jpegs but not the videos

Files are files - is it possible that you are using recovery software that is designed only to look for images?

    Try using recuva:

Good luck with trying to recover them. I hope you have some success.
I bought recover software before and it was a waste of time. It only recovered the top half of the image. In this case the images were deleted from the card.

I have used recuva several times for friends and it never failed me yet.

Use revuca. If you havnt written over the memory locations again the files should be there.

I found "Test Disk & PhotoRec 6.14" to be great

I've used a program called photo-recovery on the mac to get lost files and it worked great. Search in Google and it should take you there. It was very cheap. It will list all your drives including externals. You will probably have to plug your SD card into a usb reader so it can be recognized. good luck.
