deferred uni exam

    Hey, I was unwell during my exam period there in may so the uni are letting me take the exams again and they will count as a first sit.

    My training contract provider is wanting to know if it was medical reasons behind my retake which obviously it was. They've got me worried now though - I don't know what they're thinking :| or am I being paranoid?

    Please check this as my recollection of college is getting rather hazy at this stage. If you fail the first sitting and resit at the second you only count as passing at 40% regardless of the result. This would then have implications for your exemptions, which would be very relevant to your new employers. Also, I think you're only eligible for a pass degree which again would be an issue if the job offer was subject to getting a 2.1. So, as you're sitting a first sitting due to illness, rather than a second sitting due to failure, this shouldn't be an issue for you. I think. But obviously check all of what I said applies to you and your college.
