do you need them developed or scanned?

if they havent been developed, thats a chemical process

if you want them so you can print them, and they came out black on your scanner possible your scanner doesnt have a film hood with backlight

If you don't know someone who has a slide scanner, then one of these places should be able to do it :

    http://www.johngunn.ie/
    http://www.connscameras.ie/photo-printing-243750cm2.html

or search for "slide scanning" your location

yes i want to print them, they must be already developed because the little box they came in has a magnifier at ine end and a slot (to put slide in ) at other and you can look at them and see the pic ( not negative)
my printer/scanner is a HP photosmart. thanks for the replies.

you need a slide scanner. be very careful who does them for you

scanning slide film is much trickier than scanning neg film as the slides generally have more dynamic range than the scanner
