Is this the quickest way to get from Leeson St (Stephens Green end) to Bray sea front around 5.30 in the evening?

Or would walking from Leeson St to Pearse St and getting the Dart work out quicker as it would cancel out the walk from Bray Main St to the sea front at the other end.

What stop in Bray would I get off at on the 145? (I have no knowledge of Bray Main St so basic landmarks welcome!)

There won't be much time difference between the two. Both should take about an hour.

The start of the main street is at the bridge at the small Castle Court Shopping Centre.

Bray Station is next to the promenade. Note beach is fairly long and is likely to be full of 'rough' types drinking on a day like today.

If you walk to Pearse Street (at a brisk pace, it should take 10 minutes), there is an Intercity (for Wexford I think) at roughly 5:40 PM which arrives in Bray at 6:15 PM. Between Pearse and Bray, it only makes one stop at Dun Laoghaire. Also, unlike the 145, Bray DART Station is right beside the sea. So, it's a win-win situation. The drawback is a considerably longer DART journey back in to town because it calls at all intermediate stations.

    Anyway, hope this helps! :D

There's bus stops beside the dart station, which buses stop there?
