Hey folks, I’m looking for a little help with a stain on a newly painted wall! Basically it got marked and I tried to wipe it off with a damp cloth which seems to have just made the stain darker and bigger….it looks as if there’s a shadow on the wall and is now quiet noticeable.

Although it was “professionally” painted 6 months ago, there are a few blemishes in places but this is by far the most noticeable, so I think its poor quality paint as it shouldn’t darken so easily. I suppose trying to touch it up will only make it worst so just wondering if anyone has any old wives tales that might be worth trying! Thanks!

Paint the whole wall again if you ever want it to look right!
