Sisters 1.4 astra 04 was driven until ran out of petrol, she kept trying to start it as a petrol station was 500 meters away, called me i came put in petrol and car was started ok, later that day car kept stalling when coming to a stop, the first time it done so it wont start and ran down the battery so I charged battery and managed to get it going, it as bad now as this happened 3 days ago now but she says it now drops power when going about 100kph and then picks up again

Im guessing the car has sucked up some crap from being run dry and most of it has worked its way through but still some remain, i scanned car and no error codes stored, can i disconnect fuel line and clean it maybe with compressed air or is there a way to check if injector blocked?

Unlikely crap from the tank made is as far as the injectors. Wouldn't a blocked fuel filter be more likely? Or a damaged furl pump?

Could also be stepper motor (idle controller)
