    Hi,

I recently noticed that my fuse board in my house had a couple of strands of earth tied down to my mains neutral back in the box. Looks completely dodgy.
there is only a main L & N running to the house

If a new earth rod was driven down and all my earths were tied to this would that be sufficient? Also would the N and E be joined at the consumer unit?

As it is an old house should an RCBO be installed for the en suite and bathroom or would 1 cover both?

    Any info would be great
