In the market for a monitor or two...

Hey all, so it's time for me to buy a replacement monitor, after my last one got burglarised. I've been using an old spare, but it's time to start being nice to my eyes again.

So I'm currently weighting up my options between going for one pretty big (27" or so) monitor, or maybe two 24". I'm not looking for gaming across a bunch of screens or anything (though I'll probably try it some night when the missus isn't there to laugh at me), it's handy for my work to have two screens though.

My last monitor was a Samsung 350 Series and I found it thoroughly pleasant. I'd nearly just buy two of these, or the latest equivalent.

    My criteria would be:
    • I want to have a nice big working area without spending a fortune.
    • It needs to be nice looking for games
    • It needs to have good colour for Photoshop
    • Under €500. I probably wouldn't go above €400 unless there was a good reason.

So if you were planning or a one or two monitor setup on those criteria, what would you consider? Thanks for your opinion.

    Two of these?

24" IPS panels. Can't really beat them for the price.

There's even plenty left for a mounting solution like this.

Hmm, looks pretty good, will definitely consider it.
