    Same car linked twice?

The dealer car is very light on spec and detail.

Is a 1.9 sufficient for a boat like that?

    I'd seriously doubt it.

S80....as long as you are happy this will be a lifetime investment....sale proof in my opinion. Just my 2c and not trying to offend.

Clearly not, the op is buying one.

Did you go for a test drive in one? It's a ... big... boat... of a car. Not saying you won't like it, but you have to drive and see. Plus, for the size, the rear headroom is not great.

The S80 is not a huge car in fairness, it's bigger than a 3 Series but smaller than a 5 Series. I'd be more concerned about the fuel consumption on the FFV engines, they are a dog on fuel which was grand when Bioethanol was widely available and much cheaper than unleaded. Those engines also need to be serviced every 10,000 km.

They're both the flexfuel model - do a search a few weeks back and you'll find a post discussing the relative low power of this model.

You're correct there. At 191 inches its big by European standards but certainly not huge.

    A Chrysler 300, now that's a big whore of a car.

I test drove one before I got the E60, and it felt bigger than it. Maybe the more sloped windscreen contributed to this sensation?
