Missed signing on how long to wait for money?

Hi i stupidly missed signing on last week because it said next signing on n/a i went in today to collect my jsa to be told no money bugger off. I went into welfare office and got a ticking off (rightly so) and told to sign today. How long will i have to wait now for my money to be in the post office?

If it was today you should have money in the post office on Thursday.

Thanks, I was hoping it'd be today as i've a job interview this afternoon and could have done with the bus fare as its a 16km wlk and in this weather its gonna a killer.
