    Hi,

Maybe someone on here can answer this for me, I've spent a lot of time searching the forum, but had no luck.

This TV has a built in DVB-T tuner. SO can I just run a cable directly from my Sky satellite dish to this TV without a box and receive FTA channels including saorview?

    Hope someone can help,

    Thanks.

Edit: I realise the saorview part will require an aerial connection not a dish connection.

    DVB-T is for Saorview

DVB-S and DVB-S2 (HD) is for satellite aka sky tv free channels.

This TV is DVB-T so you will only be able to view Saorview channels. From past experience with DVB-S tuners they get quite hot and this may not be the best option if you are looking for a few TV. Anyway this feature in a tv will cost well over 50e when a decent set top box can be bought for 50e.

This TV is coming on offer on 29th August in Aldi. €150 for 23 inch LED with 3 year guarantee.

Seems to be a good deal pricewise, anyone have any experience with ALDI tellys?
