Want to get Accounting Qualification

Hi all,

I have a degree in Business and I.T from Trinity (2003). I have been working in a banking and accounts roles since then. I would like to begin to study to be a qualified accountant.

Does anyone know if I would need to begin from the bottom rung, or would my degree and experience stand to me and allow me some sort of an exemption?

　

I would like to try the ACCA exams.

You might want to consider CAI's elevation course.

If you'd a Business Degree from Trinity you'd get 2 exams exempt. I think you'll need to contact them to see what exemptions you'd get for a Business and IT degree.

Think exemptions expire if undergrad is over 10 years old.

He'll be cutting it close so, don't they count them from graduation date, which will likely be in a month or so.
