The CAO allocation process has started. Offers in Round A were made by text message and e-mail on Friday 5th July. Postal offer notices were issued also, arriving on Monday 8th (for me anyway). Reply date is 11th July at 17:15.

The FAQ accompanying the postal offer gives the next round (Round 0) as 31st July. This is a day earlier than the published date.

This doesn't apply to GEM though, does it? CAO docs say we are in Round 0 in early August. This is for mature students and deferrals plus some other special categories, I think?

In the case of GEM, Round A is for deferrals only.

    Got RCSI

wasn't sure which to put as 1st choice so I went 1:RCSI, 2:UCD with 59 points. Still not sure if I've made right first choice though.

Anyone else get an offer for RCSI, should we get a thread going for discussion?

Yeah I got in, off on holidays tomorrow for one last blowout though! Maybe a meetup or something before it starts would be good

I was wondering if anyone who got a score of 53 was offered a place in CAO round 0 for UL GEM 2014?

I scored 53 in March during final year of college and really don't want to have to take a year out to apply for GEM in UL again. The round 0 offers are out on July 30th but the wait is killing me. I have applied for GAMSAT UK in Birmingham come September and if I don't get a round 0 offer I am quitting my job to focus more on study for the month of August rather than just studying after work.

Any information from someone who got offered UL in 2014 with a score of 53 would be greatly appreciated.
