    Excepting raising children

That's okay because I haven't raised any children.

His was probably figuring out how to start this thread - it's not easy for the older generations to master the mouse and keyboard.

But it's not an achievement at all - this thread will be doomed to the remotest bowel's of boards in the not too distant future.

As for mine, well,...yeah...I need more time, is that alright?

I once kicked a ball into a big net, except there was a lot of people trying to prevent me from doing so.

Such was the skill and almost surreal perfection of my kick, the net exploded on impact.

I've had so many greatest achievements that it's impossible to list them all. My most recent one (yesterday) was returning my PS3 from the dead after it YLODed.

I haven't made any serious attempt to kill myself yet. I think that's about as much as I'll ever achieve.

I used my general laziness to develop ways to automate stuff in my old job as a hedge fund accountant so i could sit on boards.ie for longer.. Got caught using boards.ie a ridiculous amount in an internal audit and was the bad egg of the entire Ireland operation because everyone started to get monitored. Really bad buzz cause about 300 people were pretty annoyed at me. They just refused to believe that I was very quick at my job and left boards.ie open all day in the background checking in every 20/30 mins or so.

Anyways, after that horrific downfall, my nerdy IT ways to automate stuff started to leak out and I ended up training other managers/staff and developing specific processes for various types of funds. The lowly 21 year old in an office of mostly 30+ year olds on video conference.
An example would be a job only my team manager was really good enough to do and it was about a three day complicated manual job for her once a month. I reduced it to about one hour with zero potential for errors. She didn't have to waste her time on it anymore and that one process is definitely my greatest achievement. Took me quite a while to get it perfect but completely worth it cause I didn't let it impact my immediate responsibilities.

I ended up saving that company hundreds or even thousands of man hours a few months after nearly getting fired.. I was going to be promoted to senior because of it and then left for Asia and Australia cause I was one of only two people who went for the first round of voluntary redundancies.

Goes to show.. Use your other skills and think outside the box wherever you work. I nailed that job by being the only accountant with a nerdy lazy IT side.
