    Hi there.
    I'm a student attending NUIG.
    I get the SUSI grant
Last year i received the grant but i still had to pay €224

I heard that the fees increase each year by €250
    is this true?
if so, ill have to pay €474 this year and €724 the following year?

Fees are broken down into 3 parts.

What you have to pay is the Student Levy, which is set by the University and so far is not set to change, but it if did, it would not be by €250.
SUSI Grant pays the student contribution charge, which is where the increase of 250 is attached.
The rest is covered by the 'Free Fees' Initiative which you are already getting.
