    Hi all,

Was reading in todays independent, that former Ireland international Dave Langan is selling his International caps to pay some of his debt. What does a international soccer cap look like? Surely its not an actual cap (worn on your head).

It is. Or at least it was. Google it and you'll see some examples.

It is, looks a bit like a Just William type school boys cap. For your glass cabinet or to frame rather than wear.

'In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap.'
